I found a home: Holly

Meet Holly who is a fantastic dog in more ways than one.
Holly was adopted just over 14 months ago but due to a change in the owners circumstances they  sadly have had to return her to HUG.
Holly is  a lovely  3 year old fawn girl. Holly can be a bit timid on first introductions until she gets to know them.
Holly is a very good traveller and will lie down automatically on the back seat of the care. Holly is with good all breeds of dog friendly including  mini dachshunds  which are owned by a relative, one of which is still a puppy and barely bigger than a kitten!! Holly is very obedient and has good recall.
Holly is cat friendly once properly introduced and has time to get to know the cat
Holly is spotless in the house , loves her crate and is used to be crated when her owners leave the house.

Holly is approx. 27kg and about 25 inches to the shoulder. She is up to date with worming and vaccinations.

We feel Holly would be better in a home with adults or a home with children over 5. Ideally with other dogs or sighthounds as she loves to play! Her tail is like a propeller when she’s happy!

Holly is reserved for a home in Wales

  1. We live in England and lost our ex-racing greyhound Maddy, 13, in January due to illness, after 10 years. Would there be any chance of Holly coming to England? I did fill in an adoption form, my name is Anne Steventon. Holly would live with two adults and not be left alone as we’re both retired. We do have a cat who adopted us and she and Maddy were great friends.
