I found a home: Rudolf

[envira-gallery id=”8514″]My name is Rudolf and this is my story…

I was born in November 2011. I was the smallest in the litter and had to be bottle fed. When I was still very small I got pneumonia and almost died, but being the little fighter that i am I pulled through. At 8mths old I got attacked one night by the other pups I was living with and got a big wound over my shoulder. It was very painful and way too big to be stitched together, so I put on a brave face while it was cleaned twice a day and it eventually healed to leave only a small scar. I grew into a lovely boy weighing 68lbs and to everyone’s amazement I started to race. I even won my very first race. Unfortunately a year ago a broke my front leg when I was out running in the field. It has healed very well and I can do everything as normal. I can even gallop around the field again. I do have a small limp when I walk but it isn’t painful it’s just that the bone didn’t heal completely straight. I am a very friendly and affectionate boy who loves cuddles. I walk very well on the lead and never pull. I can be let off in the field and never run away and always come back. I live with 3 other male greyhounds and we all get on great. I also go walking and running with other breeds of dog big and small. I am a very special boy and looking for my very special and loving home. I hope there is someone out there who can help me find it.
