€70 Neutering Operation Ref: HUG N It is our rescue policy to neuter all greyhounds over 6 months old which come into our care. A neutered hound is less likely to develop cancerous tumours later in life, and the risk of unwanted litters of pups is removed. This gift will neuter either one male or one female greyhound.

€15 Bag of Food Ref: HUG F A good diet is essential for the health and well being of greyhounds in our care. We monitor the condition of all the hounds to ensure that none of them are putting on or losing too much weight. This gift will feed one greyhound for 2 weeks. |

€40 Dental Scale & Polish Ref: HUG D New arrivals receive a dental check up with a scale and polish. In cases of very poor dental hygiene some teeth may have to be extracted. Untreated dental problems can lead to serious health issues as well as loss of appetite. This gift will provide a full dental for one greyhound. |

€12 Flea, Tick & Worm Treatment Ref: HUG FTW Some greyhounds which come into our care have not had regular worm treatments, and are often in poor body condition. We flea, tick and worm treat all hounds on arrival, and may give a further dose later on if necessary. This gift will provide a full treatment for one greyhound. |

€14 Lead & Martingale Collar Set Ref: HUG LMC Martingale collars are our preferred choice for use with the greyhounds. Not only are they comfortable to wear, but they ensure added security when dealing with nervous or wary hounds. This gift means that one greyhound can be walked and transported in safety. |

€20 Vet Bedding Ref: HUG VB This versatile bedding is ideal for our greyhounds to lie on. It is great for a kennel environment and will keep the hounds toasty, and it’s easily cleanable too. Vet beds are also used in the transport crates on the HUG van, and for the hounds in foster homes. This gift will provide a vet bed for one greyhound.
